Palm Beach Proposal & Picnic Co, a sister brand of TDW Events, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Setup Assistant to help bring our stunning picnic and proposal installations to life. In this role, you will work from a detailed visual plan to set up and style each experience exactly as designed — ensuring every element is perfectly placed before the client arrives.
This is a part-time, as-needed position with the majority of work taking place on weekends. It is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on, creative work and takes pride in executing a vision with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow detailed visual plans and layout guides to set up picnic and proposal installations
- Arrange décor, furniture, florals, tableware, and styling elements according to the design plan
- Load and unload materials and equipment from the company vehicle before and after each setup
- Transport and handle all inventory with care to prevent damage
- Ensure each setup is complete, clean, and photo-ready before the client's arrival
- Assist with breakdown and proper storage of all materials after the event
- Communicate clearly with the lead coordinator regarding setup progress and any on-site questions
Training is provided. A lead coordinator will always be on-site to guide and support you during every setup.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be available primarily on weekends, with occasional weekday availability as needed
- Ability to load, unload, and transport event materials and equipment (lifting up to 40 lbs required)
- Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet for the duration of each setup
- Strong attention to detail — ability to follow a visual plan and replicate it precisely
- Reliable personal transportation to travel to setup locations throughout Palm Beach County
- Dependable, punctual, and professional when representing the Palm Beach Proposal & Picnic Co brand
- A positive attitude and genuine care for creating beautiful, memorable experiences
- Prior experience in event setup, décor, or a related field is a plus but not required

In this role, you will work directly alongside our lead coordinators to ensure every moment of the event day runs seamlessly from start to finish.

The Details Co, a sister brand of TDW Events, is seeking a talented and reliable Balloon Artist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a hands-on part in creating the breathtaking balloon garlands, arches, and installations that have become a signature of our brand.
This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the majority of work taking place on evenings and weekends to align with our event schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inflate, tie, and prepare balloons in a variety of sizes, colors, and finishes for each event
- Travel to event venues across Palm Beach County and surrounding areas to install balloon garlands, arches, and custom arrangements
- Assist with the ordering and restocking of balloon inventory and supplies
- Organize and store supplies properly after each event to maintain an efficient workspace
- Load and unload the company vehicle with event materials before and after each installation
- Work collaboratively with the TDW Events and Details Co team to execute the client's design vision on time and on brand
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace at all times
